Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya were discharged from Nanavati hospital on Monday after testing negative for coronavirus, even as Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and his son and actor Abhishek remained hospitalised. They are likely to be discharged later this week.
Aishwarya Rai had tested positive on July 12, a day after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive and were admitted to Nanavati hospital. She was hospitalised five days later after developing slight fever and mild symptoms along with her daughter Aaradhya.
Tweeting about the discharge, her husband Abhishek Bachchan said on Monday, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff.”
Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. 🙏🏽— Abhishek Bachchan (@juniorbachchan) July 27, 2020

Later, Amitabh Bachchan also shared a touching tweet. It read, “अपनी छोटी बिटिया , और बहुरानी को ,अस्पताल से मुक्ति मिलने पर ; मैं रोक ना पाया अपने अंसून 🙏
प्रभु तेरी कृपा अपार, अपरम्पार (I couldn’t control my tears when I came to know that my little one and daughter-in-law are safe. Thank you, god)”
