‘Keep Smiling Wherever You Are’! Ankita Lokhande lights candle in memory of Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande remembers him and light up an earthen lamp at her home temple. Taking to Instagram, she shared a picture of the lit candle in front of the idols of Jesus and Lord Ganesha and captioned it, “HOPE, PRAYERS AND STRENGTH !!! Keep smiling wherever you are.”
Earlier, on the one month death anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput, she shared a similar picture with lighted diya at her home temple and captioned it, “Child of God.” From the looks of it, she seems to have to lent her support to the #Candle4SSR online campaign started by lawyer Ishkaran Singh Bhandari for a CBI inquiry into the death of Sushant.

On Tuesday, Ishkaran tweeted, “It was decided by today during my Youtube Live that Tomorrow all those who want Justice for Sushant Singh Rajput will do peaceful protest & light candle at 8 pm. #Candle4SSR - this hashtag (people decided) for tomorrow.”

Sushant and Ankita met each other on the sets of Ekta Kapoor’s popular show Pavitra Rishta and were in a relationship for long six years and were even planning to get married. Ankita had visited Sushant’s house in Mumbai and met his family.  However, they broke up in 2016.

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has requested the home ministry to transfer the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). In an Instagram post, she wrote, “I have complete faith in the government , however in the interest of justice , I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter . I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step.”

Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara is all set to release on July 24 in Disney Plus Hotstar at 7:30 pm.
