Sushant Singh Rajput death case: Kangana Ranaut's lawyer sends reply to Mumbai Police


Kangana Ranaut lawyer has sent the actress' reply to Mumbai Police in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Kangana wants to record her statement with Mumbai Police but she is in her hometown Manali, Himachal Pradesh, since March 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Kangana lawyer, she is ready for a face-to-face interaction but only if the Mumbai Police could send any of their officers. She is also ready to record her statement through video recording if Mumbai Police could help.

The actress is in Himachal Pradesh and cann't travel to the Bandra Police Station, Mumbai, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier, Kangana Ranaut's said she has not received any formal summons from the Mumbai Police.

On July 2, the Kangana's team wrote on Twitter, “Ms #KanganaRanaut hasn’t received any such request from @MumbaiPolice yet, but as and when she does, she is more than willing to co-operate,” a tweet by Kangana’s team read.



The actress also alleged that Sushant Sigh Rajput was a victim of nepotism prevalent in Bollywood. Till now, the investigating team has recorded statements of over 40 people which includes Sushant Singh Rajput's family friends, co-workers, staffers, YRF chairman Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, film critic and journalist Rajeev Masand and a few other Bollywood journalists.
