Sushant Singh Rajput's death case: Investigation team says Aditya Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's statements differ


Sushant's demise has created quite a stir in Hindi Film Industry. While a lot of celebs mourned the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput's but several have come out and shared that Bollywood didn't help the late actor when needed. The case is currently investigating by the Mumbai Police. Recently,  YRF (Yash Raj Films) chairman Aditya Chopra and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali recorded their statements with Mumbai Police, as part of the ongoing investigation.

The cops have already recorded the statements of Sushant Singh Rajput's close friends Mahesh Shetty and Rhea Chakraborty, his managers, house helps, and a key maker. 

The investigation team probing the death of Sushant Singh Rajput has pointed out that the statements of Aditya Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali differ. The team suspects that one of them had not provided correct information.
Police sources revealed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali had said that he had approached YRF to allow late actor Sushant's to work in Bajirao Mastani. He further added that the YRF officials said that Sushant Singh Rajput couldn’t work with the filmmaker since he was working on Paani and there was an issue related to dates. Meanwhile, filmmaker Aditya Chopra, who recorded his statement at Versova Police Station, said in his statement that  Sanjay Leela Bhansali never approached YRF to allow Sushant to work in Bajirao Mastani. Chopra also said that at the same time, YRF had allowed late actor Sushant Singh Rajput to work on the film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. Hence, there wasn't an issue in allowing him to work for other filmmakers.

Chopra was questioned by the investigating team for over four hours. He was summoned by the police as allegations surfaced that the production house with whom the late actor had a three-film contract didn't allow Sushant Singh Rajput to work with  Bhansali.
Mumbai Police are also investigating the angle that Sushant Singh Rajput had left YRF mid-way while he had a three-film contract with the production house. Rajput lost some major films offered by Bhansali due to his contract with YRF while Ranveer Singh.
Bhansali revealed that he had offered 4 films to Sushant's. Out of the four films offered to Sushant, three turned to be blockbusters while the fourth one didn't work out.
Reportedly, Bhansali had wanted Sushant Singh Rajput to star in 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela' , 'Bajirao Mastani', 'Padmaavat' and a fourth film, however, it did not work out.
