Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti reveals why they are not demanding a CBI enquiry
Currently, a section of people has been demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the demise of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. This has been backed by some Bollywood celebrities and a few politicians as well. While the actor’s family has not spoken about the matter until recently, Sushant Singh Rajput's elder sister Shweta Singh Kirti revealed why the family has not demanded a CBI probe into the matter.

Sushant's fan-requested Shweta and her family to request for a CBI investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and said that the entire country will support them. “We were waiting for Mumbai police to finish the investigation and come up with their reports,” she said.

Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14. The tragic news of Sushant’s suicide has shaken up the nation, particularly as allegations surfaced that he was sidelined by Bollywood, despite delivering hits such as MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Chhichhore. He did not leave behind any note and the case is currently being investigated by the Mumbai Police. They have recorded the statement of nearly 40 people till now. Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh said that the Mumbai Police were looking into all possible angles.

Shweta Singh Kirti has been sharing emotional social media posts ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. On Monday, she reminisced about her childhood memories with him and shared screenshots of their chat on June 10. she wrote, “I am experiencing bouts of pain. Right when I think I am coping with it better, some or the other incidence rushes right back into my memory and breaks me apart.”
