Upset about Sushant Singh Rajput's death, a 13-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide in Chhattisgarh's

Upset about the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, a 13-year-old girl in Chhattisgarh's Durg district allegedly committed suicide, police said on Thursday. The minor girl was found hanging from the ceiling of her home in sector-7 of Bhilai town on Wednesday evening, said Trinath Tripathi, station house officer of Bhilai Nagar police station.


According to the minor girl's father, his daughter was a fan of the late actor Sushant's and kept watching his videos and films, the official said.  "A suicide note was recovered from the scene, in which the girl has stated that she was taking the extreme step as she was upset about the death of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput," he said.

The victim always looked for news related to Sushant Singh Rajput's, who was found hanging in his Mumbai home on June 14, the SHO Trinath Tripathi said quoting the girl's father.

SHO Trinath Tripathi said the girl’s parents were not at home when the incident took place. Incidentally, the girl was watching the movie Chhichhore on Wednesday evening, when her father stepped out to fetch the rest of the family from her grandparents' place at Railway Colony in Durg. “When her parents returned, they found the door was locked from inside. The father entered the house from the backyard and found his daughter hanging from the ceiling,” Tiwari said.
