Hathras, Balrampur incidents: Madhuri Dixit says Culprits need to be brought to justice with swift legal proceedings

Bollywood Queen Madhuri Dixit Nene on Thursday condemned the Hathras gangrape incident and Balrampur rape case and urged authorities to take strict and swift action against culprits.

Unfortunately in our society, the children & women are vulnerable to such heinous incidents. We along with the authorities need to start a dialogue to take meaningful & constructive steps to stop this for once & all.

A 22-year-old girl, who was allegedly gang-raped in Balrampur, died on the way to the hospital on Wednesday. Balrampur SP (Superintendent of Police) Dev Ranjan said the victim family had lodged a complaint of rape against two men, who have been arrested.

In Hathras, Uttar Pradesh's a 19-year-old Girl, who was gang-raped, died on Tuesday morning, in Delhi. All the 4 accused involved on 14 September gang-rape in Hathras have been arrested.
