With 'Student Of The Year' turning 8, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra complete 8 years in industry

Film 'Student Of The Year' released on October 19, 2012 marked 8 years of its release on Monday. The film directed by Karan Johar, stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles. Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment andHiroo Yash Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions.

Alia Bhatt who played the  role of Shanaya Singhania in the film shared an Instagram story of Apoorva Mehta,  Dharma Production's CEO, writing “8 Yearsssss Can’t Believe It.”

It was not just SOTY that turned 8, but it is Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra too, who made their big Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘SotY’ in 2012. 

Sidharth Malhotra shared a screenshot on Twitter, posted by his fan club wherein the photo shows that hashtag #8YearsOfSidharthMalhotra is listed on top trends of twitter. Sidharth also share and wrote, “Thanks guys for the trend! Big love for all the support throughout my 8 year journey."
