Prakash Jha calls Alia Bhatt a ‘fantastic actress’, calls protests against her film 'Sadak 2' is ‘obnoxious, unfair’

 

Sushant Singh Rajput fans have been protesting against a section of Bollywood for encouraging nepotism and being a product of the same after the tragic death of SSR. Following this, actor Alia Bhatt, her director father Mahesh Bhatt and their upcoming film, Sadak 2 has been receiving a lot of backlash on social media. Filmmaker Prakash Jha reportedly said that there is no denying that Alia Bhatt is a fantastic actress and her father Mahesh Bhatt is an excellent director, who has made a lot of great movies. To drag them down over some theories (about Sushant Singh Rajput death) that have no evidence because people are saying whatever they want makes no sense.

He continued by stating that: "I don’t follow social media much but what’s happening in the case of Alia Bhatt stirrer Sadak 2, if it has become the most disliked video like they say, and if it’s only for this reason (people assuming Alia Bhatt had some hand to play in Sushant’s death), then it’s obnoxious, very sad and very unfair.”

Prakash's also added that when you come to Mumbai to prove yourself in the film industry (Bollywood), be prepared to strive & work hard and to take rejection as a lot of times as it happens because eventually when you will get accepted, you shine. That's the beauty of this world.
